Check out an interesting discussion on infant baptism on Nathan Pitchford’s blog, Pitchford’s Ramblings. The original post is detailed and lengthy, yet nothing compared to the ongoing discussion!
A little background: this is primarily a discussion between friends who all went to the same fundamentalist Bible college. Two of them are leaning toward infant baptism and are attending Presbyterian churches, I believe. The other is the one who posted in defense of credo-baptism (believer’s baptism). Due to some of the discussion, though, he is now seriously reevaluating his position. I included a post, and plan to contribute more, after my brother Dave weighs in on the topic. Having a respect for covenant theology really changes one’s ideas about the debate of credo- vs. paedo- baptism. One realizes that proponents of infant baptism are not disrespecting Scripture, but upholding it from their view.
I encourage you to contribute, if you have anything constructive to add to the discussion.
