Hi! Thanks for reading my blog, even when I am slow to post. I went fishing today, and will leave for a wedding this weekend. I won’t get back to posting in earnest until Tuesday, probably.
Until then, you might want to check out this site that I’ve been meaning to promote for some time now. IFBReformation.Org. Check out his Origins of Independent Fundamental Baptists. It is quite interesting. Spend some time on his site, and check back here Tuesday.
Blessings because of Jesus’ Cross,
Bob Hayton
Looks like a great resource! I’ll begin reading through it tomorrow.
I like his over all stance on reforming IFBs. The article on the history of IFBs is interesting, though too shallow. I wish he would expand on each of his points. I didn’t read his articles on salvation, but he seems to be opposed to the mis-named Lordship salvation, which somewhat troubles me. I would like to see some stuff on the KJV issue when it is available.

Fred,
It’s kind of funny that he is against “Lordship salvation” and at the same time is a proponent of Sovereign Grace theology (or Calvinism). I don’t think he understands the Calvinist point P well enough.
I’m sure he is not finished developing his site. I thought the articles were interesting especially since he came from a similar background as myself and many of my readers. His site makes me want to organize my articles a little better.
Thanks for dropping by.
Bob
