I have two copies of What He Must Be …If He Wants to Marry My Daughter to giveaway, compliments of Crossway. I am going to limit the contest to fathers of daughters. And you must reside in the US (where I can mail things media rate).

So please use this contact form, and reply with your name, and the names of your daughters (to make sure this is a human dad entering the contest). Also please add “book giveaway” in the subject line if you can remember. The contact form goes straight to me, and is not stored anywhere. I will delete the entries of the contest after I use random.org’s free randomizer to select the two winners.

It’s been fun hosting my first ever book giveaway contest. I should make the entry question a bit easier next time, but we had 11 contestants. Where else can you get such a good odds at winning?

Chronological Study Bible — Book Giveaway

With the completion of my review for the Chronological Study Bible (NKJV) by Thomas Nelson Publishers, I can now announce my book giveaway. Compliments of Kate Etue, publicist for Thomas Nelson, I was given a second copy of this excellent study Bible.

I will send this copy out to a US resident, who can answer the following question correctly.

Which is the only event from Jesus’ ministry preceding his last week in Jerusalem, that is reported in all four New Testament Gospels?

My Christmas Rhyme

This is day 2 of Bible Geek Gone Wild’s 12 Days of Christmas promotion. I’ve already won one free book, and am trying for some more.

I’d encourage everyone to stay tuned to Shaun’s blog these next 11 days, because I hear the prizes to be had (mostly lots of free books compliments of many fine Christian book publishers) are many and worthwhile.

Shaun has been keeping us all on our toes, as entering the contests aren’t as simple as leaving a comment. Yesterday we had to share a Christmas memory. Today you have to answer a brief Bible trivia quiz, or come up with a short (2-6 lines) Christmas poem (or rhyme, or jingle). You can do both today since there are two contests. I’m wondering, are there three contests tomorrow??

Well, I’d be fine with no one else entering these contests as I’d love to hog all the free books for myself. But it IS Christmas after all! So join in the fun and try your hand at a Christmas jingle today, or if you don’t see this post until Monday, I’m sure there will be some challenging means of entering a contest that you can have fun with then….
