Reformation Day Deals and Discounts
This Monday marks Reformation Day, the anniversary of the date in 1517 when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenburg, Germany.
Often there are several blogs promoting special discounts or freebies in honor of the day, and so I wanted to round up some of the best deals and discounts here for my readers.
- Reformation Day Giveaway from Reformation Heritage Books.
- Another Reformation Day giveaway at Sola Gratia blog.
- Free eBook from Reformation Theology: Of Efficacious Grace by John Gill.
- Free audio book from Ligonier Ministries: The Barber Who Wanted to Pray by R.C. Sproul.
- Free audio book from ChristianAudio.com: Martin Luther in His Own Words.
- Discount on Missional Wear T-Shirts: $3 off, details at Bible Geek Gone Wild.
- Reformation Day sale on 2 Isaac Watts’ Hymns CDs from Sojourn Music.
- Free Music download of Martin Luther’s famous hymn, A Mighty Fortress Is Our God from Redemption Hill music.
- Five Dollar Friday deals from Ligonier Ministries that are themed around the Reformation.
- Challies.com’s Friday giveaway today is centered on the Reformation as well.
- Several of Westminster Bookstore’s discounts this week (through Nov. 2) pertain to the Reformation, including a new edition of the Reformation Study Bible (ESV)
- And last, but not least, you could take advantage of a special subscriber’s deal for the new Reformation Commentary on Scripture series from IVP.
After taking advantage of these special offers, don’t forget to spend some time reading up on the significance of the day. Credo Magazine’s blog has a special article devoted to remembering Reformation Day, and Justin Taylor rounds up several excellent resources for us too.
