An Update, Another Update, and More Updating

Update 1 — I’ll be traveling a lot the next few weeks and so posting will be infrequent, however I’m taking my laptop with me.

Update 2 — I am not forsaking the blog. I transitioned to another job within my company that has a different schedule, which makes blogging a little harder for me. But I believe I can keep at it, even if my time for reading other blogs goes down, hopefully I’ll be able to focus on some of my own blog projects which need completing.

More Updating — With the new schedule, I am updating some other blogs of mine.

I’m changing Kingdom Surge to focus more on linking to good articles on missions, and in the process I’m converting the blog over to tumblr.com, which should make updating that blog a whole lot simpler. The conversion process will take a while (since I have to manually import each old post), but I’m adding new posts to the blog in the meantime. This deletes my old Huckabee blog, by the way.

And I plan to not forget totally about my KJV Research blog. I recently posted to it for the first time in a while. Speaking of “a while”, it’s been an eternity since I updated my family photo blog. We’ll see about that one…

Well now that you’re up to speed, you can eagerly await my next post. Maybe you can guess when it will appear? I don’t know. Thanks for reading, in any case!

Down Time

Hey everyone. Just a note that I’ll be having a week or so of down time from my blog. I just posted on some reading material for you, and there’s lots of other good stuff out in the blogworld to keep you occupied. Check out my links and Recommended blogs and resources, while you’re at it.

I have a job transition that will require me to focus my energies in one direction for the next week or two. So take care, until next post.

King James Only Research Center

Introducing my newly redesigned King James Only Research Center.

I’m really excited about the redesign. The site is now a normal website rather than a website-wannabe using blog software.

The site is very user-friendly with simple built-in navigation. And it includes a site blog, where I hope to blog about additions to the site and other KJV-only related finds I come across.

I still have more work to do with the site, but I’m satisfied with the new design, and feel I have the infrastructure in place to finally fill out my own writings on the topic.

If you have linked to the KJV Only Debate Resource Center in the past, please update your link to the new site: http://www.freewebs.com/kjvonlyresearch/index.htm and edit the name to the new site name: King James Only Research Center. Some may not have linked to the old site, because it was difficult to use. I hope the new design will bring more visitors and encourage more to link to what I hope is a useful resource.

Cleaning up the Links

Just a quick house-cleaning note. I went through and made some additions and deletions to my reciprocal links list (Blogs that Like Bob).

I only deleted blogs on which I could not find a link back to me, anymore. I tried to add everyone else who links to me. If you are not on the list and should be, just let me know.

Thanks, and I apologize for how long some have waited to be added!

The Best of Bob's Blog: A Year in Review 2007

Better late then never! Its February 1st, 2008 before I’m reviewing 2007. In my defense, we’ve already had 2 family-wide illness cycles since January 1!

Since I blog on so many different topics, weeding down my choices to 10 is difficult. So I’ll add a few honorable mentions, and then add in some favorites and other assorted distinctions for some other posts. This is fun for me, but it also can make some of my readers aware of older posts around here that might be worth checking out.

Without further ado, let’s begin, in reverse order.
